Does the church still matter? Jesus says it does.
In Matthew 16:18, Jesus makes a powerful promise: “I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.” The church isn’t built on a pastor, programs, preferences, politics, or personalities. It is built on the unshakable truth that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of the living God.
In this message, we discover that the church matters because:

• It is grounded in God’s Word
• We are being built together as a people where God dwells by His Spirit
The church isn’t simply a place we attend—it is a people Jesus is building. Instead of standing at a distance and critiquing what Jesus is building, He invites us to come close, take our place, use our gifts, and be part of His church.
